Best Skincare

Skincare jazzes me almost as much as makeup!  Here are my favorite products to keep my complexion looking gorgeous.  Try a few for yourself!  These are the best of the best.  This list is, of course, subject to change!  (Updated March 2012)

skincare
Eshu Skin Assist Face Wash, $19: This Australian formula is super gentle and dissolves makeup with ease.  Plus it smells so good that using it is seriously a treat!

Peter Thomas Roth Unwrinkle Illuminator Moisturizer, $68: My go-to moisturizer for daytime.  It makes my complexion glow and gives a hint of subtle luminosity without any annoying glittery particles.  It's extra perfect on days when I'm extra tired.

Bliss Triple Oxygen Energizing Face Mask, $54: I use this incredible mask three times a week.  It foams deep into your pores to brighten and detoxify your complexion in five minutes flat.  It feels amazing and tingly, plus it smells like oranges!  And a little goes a long way, so it lasts a while.

Bliss Triple Oxygen +C Energizing Cream, $54:  After the Bliss Oxygen mask I follow up with this moisturizer at night and wake up with a pretty complexion.  It smells like oranges too, and delivers lots of vitamin C to your skin.

Arcona The Eyes Have It, $32:  The only eye cream I've found that actually works for me!  It hydrates the delicate skin around your eyes to prevent wrinkles and make your eyes look younger.  For me it's more preventative but I've also noticed a difference in my undereye circles!  And it smells like...

Kate Somerville Exfolikate, $175:  It's a definite splurge, but it lasts for ages and is like having your own personal facialist in a tube.  Exfolikate features grainy particles to slough away dry skin but also boasts an army of fruit enzymes to destroy a host of skin complaints.  I swear, it has transformed my complexion.  I don't say that lightly.  And it smells amazing, like Christmas.

CLARISONIC Cleansing System, $119:  Another skin transforming, facialist-in-your-bathroom product.  Believe the hype!  My skin has never looked or felt better, and using it feels like a luxe spa treatment.

Everblossom Oh Hush Face Serum, $12:  My friend Kylie makes this and I will forever have a bottle on my nightstand.  The lavender and ylang ylang essential oil miracle blend calm my skin when it's unruly and inflamed.  The oil absorbs quickly and I feel like I wake up with brand new skin every time I use it.  And like every single other product I've mentioned, Oh Hush also smells amazing.
Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes, $8:  These wipes cut through foundation, matte lipstick, and even heavy waterproof mascara like it's nothing.  They're perfect for traveling or when I'm too tired (read: lazy) to use my Clarisonic.  They're the best makeup removing wipes I've ever come across!  And yeah, they smell good too :)
