best bargains

Physicians Formula Mood Boosting Blush in Natural, $10: This shade works whether I'm a blonde or a ginger, smells like violets, and is pretty much the only blush I wear.  And it's a fantastic bargain in lovely packaging!  Perfect.

Hard Candy Eye Def, $6: This extra pigmented cream eyeshadow comes in two formulas, glitter and smooth metallic.  They're gorgeous worn alone for a night out or blended with other eyeshadows for a unique, more subtle finish.

Eos Smooth Sphere Lip Balm, $3:  The packaging is adorable, the product is extra moisturizing and fun to apply, and all the different flavors smell good enough to eat.  I'm partial to Lemon Drop, which smells exactly like fresh lemonade.  Delish!

Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butters, $7.49:  Lip Butters are drugstore version of Dior Addict lipstick!  The variety of shades is as impressive as the glossy, moisturizing formula.  Better still, they're just pigmented as any other lipstick.  They're so good, I want them all!

Rimmel London Sexy Curves Mascara, $7:  All the Rimmel mascaras are ace, but this is the standout.  Apply two or three coats and get ready to be asked if you're wearing falsies!  Sexy Curves delivers ridiculous volume and curl, thanks in part to that crazy looking brush.

L'Oreal HIP Metallic Shadow Duo, $8:  Most drugstore eyeshadows are kind of lackluster; not so with these High Intensity Pigments!  They apply just as bold and vibrant as they appear in the pan and come in an astounding variety of shades.

Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil in Jet Black, $3:  When I want a change from my favorite liquid liner, I reach for this kohl inspired pencil.  It's the darkest inky black and perfect for smudging.

CoverGirl NatureLuxe Silk Foundation, $10: This foundation is light, airy, and formulated without parabens and many other sketchy chemicals.  It contains rosehips, jojoba extract, and cucumber water to benefit your skin!  And the tube is even made from renewable plastic.  Plus?  It's a staple behind the scenes at fashion weeks across the globe, thanks to Pat McGrath.
